For a more seamless and enjoyable visit, we have compiled a list of the most frequently asked questions we get.<\/p>\n

What time are ch<\/b>eck-in and check-out?<\/strong>
\nTypically, our check in is at 3 pm and check out is at 10 am. On most occasions, these times are flexible on request.<\/p>\n

Does Seaview House have Wi-Fi?<\/strong>
\nYes, Seaview House has free and fast NBN Wi-Fi accessible throughout the entire house so you and your guests can stay connected.<\/p>\n

Are there individual keys for each bedroom?<\/strong>
\nYes, each bedroom has its own individual key, which is provided to the guest during their stay. In addition, a front door to the property will also be provided for the guest’s convenience.<\/p>\n

Are bed linen, towels and hairdryers provided?<\/strong>
\nBed linen is included for your convenience. All beds are triple-sheeted for cleanliness and comfort, and bathroom amenities such as towels, tissues, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and hairdryers are provided, so you don’t have to worry about bringing your own. Extra blankets are also available to make your stay as cozy as possible.<\/p>\n

Are there laundry facilities?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes, we have a guest laundry located on the ground floor. It includes a washing machine, dryer, iron, ironing board and laundry powder.<\/p>\n

Is periodic cleaning for each room available?<\/b>
\nYou can request a quote for your cleaning requirements.<\/p>\n

How many people can sleep at the Seaview House?<\/b>
\nThere are\u202f15 ensuited bedrooms<\/a>\u202fwhich can accommodate up to 35 people.<\/p>\n

Can any rooms fit an extra bed?<\/b>
\nOnly room 18 offers an additional fold bed upon request. Most rooms can fit a portacot which also can be provided upon request.<\/p>\n

How many people can be seated in the dining room?<\/b>
\nThe dining room can seat up to 35 people. Serving ware, crockery, glassware, and cutlery are provided.<\/p>\n

Is there a projector?<\/b>
\nWe do not have a projector. However, the main TV in the entertainment room can connect to a laptop via HDMI or USB. This TV is on an adjustable wall mount so can be moved to be viewed at different angles in the room.<\/p>\n

Is there a BBQ?<\/b>
\nYes, we do! In fact, we recently added a new stainless steel flat plate BBQ in our private courtyard, which is connected to bottled gas and included with your stay.<\/p>\n

Do you allow BYO alcohol?<\/b><\/p>\n

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own alcohol to Seaview House as it is not a licensed venue. However, please drink responsibly and ensure that any guests you invite also follow the same guidelines. We want you to have a fun and safe experience at Seaview House.<\/p>\n

Do you provide in-house catering?<\/b>
\nWe can offer a list of recommended caterers to come onsite to create customised menus based on your group\u2019s requests, ensuring that your dining experience is tailored to your needs. Please note that we only permit external catering contractors if prior approval has been granted.<\/p>\n

Is there a place to store motorbikes, bicycles, surfboards, etc.?<\/b>
\nThe property has a secure gate at the rear of Stokes Street. You can unload and store your motorbikes, bicycles, surfboards, and other items safely in the courtyard area.<\/p>\n

Is there parking?<\/b>
\nWe do not offer parking on the property. However, there is no need to worry as plenty of unmetered all-day parking is available on the streets nearby, both in front and on the side of the property.<\/p>\n

What is the travel time from Melbourne to Queenscliff?<\/b>
\nApproximately ninety minutes from the city.<\/p>\n

What options are there for groceries in Queenscliff?<\/b>
\nThere is an IGA is one block from the property. Woolworths and Coles are located in\u202fOcean Grove<\/a>\u202f(a 15-minute drive).\u202fPlenty of coffee shops, cafes, and restaurants are all within walking distance from the property.<\/p>\n

Do you have Disabled Access and Facilities?<\/b>
\nWe recently installed a platform stair lift on our external staircase which can assist those with a wheelchair or who have difficulties with stairs to the first floor where all our bedrooms are located. Unfortunately none of our bathrooms are fully wheelchair friendly but please let us know in advance if you require any special assistance during your stay, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
