Check in and Stay Details
What time are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 3:00pm and check-out is at 10:00am. Where possible, we’re happy to offer flexibility on request.
How many guests can Seaview House accommodate?
Seaview House offers group accommodation for up to 35 guests, with 15 ensuited bedrooms and a total of 24 beds – ideal for retreats, weddings, corporate groups, and special occasions.
Are there individual room keys?
Yes, each bedroom has its own key, the main entrance door can be accessed using a code we provide your group with prior to check in.
Rooms and Amenities
Are linen and towels provided?
Yes, all linen is provided, with beds triple-sheeted for comfort and cleanliness. Towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, tissues, and hairdryers are also included, along with extra blankets.
Are there laundry facilities?
Yes, guests have access to a fully equipped laundry with a washing machine, dryer, iron, ironing board, and detergent.
Can rooms accommodate extra beds or portacots?
Room 18 can accommodate an additional fold-out bed on request. Most rooms can fit a portacot, which can also be provided if needed.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes, Seaview House offers fast, complimentary NBN Wi-Fi throughout the property.
Spaces for Groups, Retreats and Events
Does Seaview House have spaces for meetings or group activities?
Yes, we offer flexible function and multipurpose spaces that can be set up to suit your needs – whether for corporate retreats, workshops, wellness sessions, or group gatherings.
How many people can the dining area accommodate?
Our dining space can comfortably seat 35 – 50 guests, with all crockery, glassware, cutlery, and serving ware provided.
Do you offer support for events and group stays?
Absolutely. We specialise in group stays, retreats, and events in Queenscliff, and provide support before arrival and during your stay – from planning advice and supplier recommendations to helping coordinate your itinerary.
Catering and Facilities
Do you provide catering?
We can recommend and work with trusted local caterers who can deliver customised menus for your group. We also arrange catering packages on behalf of our guests as part of our packages offering. External catering is welcome with prior approval.
Is there a BBQ and kitchen access?
Yes, guests have access to a well-equipped kitchen and a private courtyard with a stainless steel flat plate BBQ.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
Yes, BYO alcohol is welcome unless your group has purchased a drinks package as part of a catered event. Outside of the event times, BYO alcohol can be consumed. We simply ask that all guests drink responsibly.
Accessibility and Practical Information
Is Seaview House accessible?
We have a platform lift on the external staircase to assist guests with mobility needs accessing the first floor where bedrooms are located. While bathrooms are not fully wheelchair accessible, we’re happy to assist where possible – please let us know your requirements in advance.
Is there secure storage for equipment?
Yes, there is secure rear access via Stokes Street, with space to store bicycles, surfboards, golf clubs, and other equipment safely.
Is there parking available?
While there is no on-site parking, there is plenty of free, unmetered street parking directly outside and nearby.

Where is Seaview House located?
Seaview House is centrally located in Queenscliff on the Bellarine Peninsula, within walking distance to beaches, cafés, restaurants, and the harbour.
How far is Queenscliff from Melbourne and Geelong?
Queenscliff is approximately 90 minutes from Melbourne and around 30 minutes from Geelong, making it an easy destination for both city and regional visitors.
What local shops and services are nearby?
An IGA is just one block away, with larger supermarkets like Coles and Woolworths located in Ocean Grove (15 minutes away). There are also plenty of cafés, restaurants, and local attractions within walking distance.

What time are check-in and check-out?
Typically, our check in is at 3 pm and check out is at 10 am. On most occasions, these times are flexible on request.
Does Seaview House have Wi-FI?
Yes, Seaview House has free and fast NBN Wi-Fi accessible throughout the entire house so you and your guests can stay connected.
Are there individual keys for each bedroom?
Yes, each bedroom has its own individual key, which is provided to the guest during their stay. In addition, a front door to the property will also be provided for the guest’s convenience.
Are bed linen, towels and hairdryers provided?
Bed linen is included for your convenience. All beds are triple-sheeted for cleanliness and comfort, and bathroom amenities such as towels, tissues, soap, shampoo/conditioner, and hairdryers are provided, so you don’t have to worry about bringing your own. Extra blankets are also available to make your stay as cozy as possible.
Can any rooms fit an extra bed?
Only room 18 offers an additional fold bed upon request (charges apply). Most rooms can fit a portacot.
Is periodic cleaning for each room available?
You can request a quote for your cleaning requirements.
How many people can sleep at the Seaview House?
There are 15 ensuited bedrooms which can accommodate up to 35 people.
How many people can be seated in the dining room?
The dining room can seat up to 35 people. Serving ware, crockery, glassware, and cutlery are provided.
Is there a projector?
We do not have a projector. However, the main TV in the entertainment room can connect to a laptop via HDMI or USB. This TV is on an adjustable wall mount so can be moved to be viewed at different angles in the room.
Is there a BBQ?
Yes, we do! In fact, we recently added a new stainless steel flat plate BBQ in our private courtyard, which is connected to bottled gas and included with your stay.
Do you allow BYO alcohol?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own alcohol to Seaview House as it is not a licensed venue. However, please drink responsibly and ensure that any guests you invite also follow the same guidelines. We want you to have a fun and safe experience at Seaview House.
Do you provide in-house catering?
We can offer a list of recommended caterers to come onsite to create customised menus based on your group’s requests, ensuring that your dining experience is tailored to your needs. Please note that we only permit external catering contractors if prior approval has been granted.
Is there a place to store motorbikes, bicycles, surfboards, etc.?
The property has a secure gate at the rear of Stokes Street. You can unload and store your motorbikes, bicycles, surfboards, and other items safely in the courtyard area.
Is there parking?
We do not offer parking on the property. However, there is no need to worry as plenty of unmetered all-day parking is available on the streets nearby, both in front and on the side of the property.
What is the travel time from Melbourne to Queenscliff?
Approximately ninety minutes from the city.
What options are there for groceries in Queenscliff?
There is an IGA is one block from the property. Woolworths and Coles are located in Ocean Grove (a 15-minute drive). Plenty of coffee shops, cafes, and restaurants are all within walking distance from the property.
Do you have Disabled Access and Facilities?
Unfortunately there is no disabled access to guest rooms on the first level. However, there are no steps on the ground level to access different rooms. Please let us know in advance if you require any special assistance during your stay, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
